Introduction
We strive to inform everyone about the diversity of the Indigenous populations in and out of the United States and to establish relations with the surrounding Native nations. ARISE provides in-depth discussions, trips to various ceremonies or educational/historical places, and other events to let students experience and learn about the diverse Native populations. Everyone and anyone is welcome.
Mission Statement
The Purpose of our organization is to:
1) Educate all UTEP students about Native American cultures, history, and current events.
2) Provide scholarship information and assistance to Native American students.
3) Help Native American students adjust to college life.
4) Promote and endeavor to create a Native Studies program at UTEP.
Membership
-Membership shall be open to all students attending UTEP.
-A person is a member in good standing when she or he actively participates in club meetings and/or activities.
-The rights of voting and holding an office are reserved for club members only.

-Wednesdays at 12:30 pm in Liberal Arts room 401 unless other wise stated.
